Delete your Witnessed account & data

You can permanently delete your Witnessed account and associated data at any time. There are two ways:

Option 1 — In the app (fastest)

Your account and data are deleted immediately.

Option 2 — By email

If you can't access the app, email mireludev@gmail.com from the address associated with your account (or include the phone number you registered with) and ask us to delete your account. We will verify the request and complete it within 30 days.

What is deleted

• Your account and login identity (phone number or Google account link);
• Your profile (first name, language) and your PINs;
• Your emergency contacts;
• All your recordings (video/audio) and their files;
• Your last-known location and alert history;
• Your registered device/push tokens.

What may be retained

We may retain a limited amount of data where required by law, or in short-lived backups/logs that are automatically purged, and de-identified records that can no longer be linked to you. Subscription records held by Google Play or our payment processor are governed by their own retention policies.
